Not long now!!! Don't forget to give is a call to take pre-paid orders to the Midlands Foseway show. Great to start the season and see us at the shows with lots of new products on show and great bargains at the shows. We will exhibiting our brand new 16mm Hudswell Clarke engine (32mm or 45mm gauge) which uou can place a back order for on the day, and we're also taking orders for our G1 King. Information is all on our Web site but will have forms at all 3 shows, Warwick, Stoneleigh and Llangollen. We look forward to seeing you all at the shows or at GRS. Just to confirm to all, that the Hudswell Clarke is 16mm at 1.19th scale with Dual gauge sliding wheels to either 32mm or 45mm gauge.

We all from GRS just wanted to thank you all for such a successful day we had these passed 2 days at the GRS open day. Everybody enjoyed themselves including ourselves. A big thank you to Pete Binger and the Hobby Company supplying fantastic deals from LGB. We also would like to thank our Thai family and friends for doing such fantastic Thai food which we will be doing a lot more Thai food for next year.
Lastly thanks to Phil from Garden Rail for always giving us support and being such a good support to our hobby.

Just to inform everybody our sale across the shop will be carrying on till the 30th of June so another 8 more days to get those fantastic bargains on all brands. Deals can only be accepted over the phone or coming into our showroom. To receive the deals its best to join our mail shot on GRS web site so you receive the information when we send it out. We will be sending out again in the next couple of days for anybody that might have missed it.

As the event was such a success and customers keep asking for us to do it next year, we will announce the date shortly so put the date in your calendar and try not to miss out the bargains we give and for such a fun day out!

Don't forget to come and see us this Friday or Saturday at GRS on our open day. Both days the event runs from 10am - 4pm. Food and beverages supplied free throughout the day. We have our live steam layout running for people to learn how to steam up a engine or see our own Bowande range running, along with one of our experts showing how to use the LGB CS3 digital system. We also have a large sale across all our brands including LGB representing the day with other LGB discounts.

GRS new modular bridges. Easy to build and extremely strong. £80 a 400mm module. Walkways extra. GRS also does a double track version as well.

Our NGG11 garratt pilot 2 running with a small load up a gradient 1/40 and round a 4ft radius. Our engineer has confirmed it's limited radius is 3.6ft radius but that is the limit. It will run easily for 45minutes with a one water refill. The batch will going into production in the next 4 months with few more cosmetic details to be added but apart that it was very successful.

We still have spaces for our Massoth course this Saturday coming which is the 25th of January. The corse starts from 10am - 3pm and includes lunch. This locomotive is a Brand new Aistocraft class 66 locomotive which GRS has had Liz Marsden from Cromford Designs paint and line. It has also had a Fosworks and ESU sound fitted.
