It’s a beautiful morning, lovely and warm - the water looks great! No green carpet here. Perfect for a short cruise (and to rip up a bit of w**d 😜) you’ve got until about 2/3pm before the gusts and rain kick in - let’s see some boats out! ( -obvs😂)

We’ve been blessed this week! Water in abundance to fill up the canal ready for our holiday explorers on the hire boats and then today the sun is now shining for Friday opening 😎 0n the bar Olicana has been replaced this week with an Amber beer - a Best Bitter from Fuzzy Duck to accompany our session craft pint Golden Cascade. We’ve also found a rather nice Marlborough Sauvignon and a Rosé Grenache which are perfectly chilled - ready for anyone who finds themselves wandering along the towpath…

A lovely rainy week at last - and on the whole it’s been welcomed - a nice, free top-up on the canal - very overdue! - and the plants have all lifted their heads with thanks… a little too heavy for our garden gazebo though 😬 oh well, at least we can sit out and see the stars 🤩
