Sustainability starts with visibility.

We're delighted to have Reena join 2MV Logistics as our Sustainability & Innovation Associate during her placement year from the University of Portsmouth.

One of the projects she's currently working on is helping us develop carbon reporting that allows customers to better understand the environmental impact of their shipments.

From transport modes to shipment data, the aim is simple: provide clear, reliable insights that help businesses make more informed and sustainable supply chain decisions.

As Reena puts it:
"Even small changes can make a difference. Giving customers access to reliable data is an important step towards making more sustainable decisions."
We're looking forward to seeing this project develop over the coming months.

Faye Pollard and Simon Celebrating five years at 2MV!

Faye Pollard plays an important role as European Courier, ensuring every stage of her key accounts’ shipments is handled quickly and efficiently, from processing orders and arranging shipping through to final PODs and invoicing. Faye made an impact at 2MV from the very beginning, improving an invoice reporting process in her first week, and has continued to bring that same proactive approach to her role ever since.

For Faye, it is 2MV’s genuine family atmosphere, strong customer relationships and team spirit that have made the past five years so rewarding. Thank you, Faye, for your continued commitment, hard work and contribution to 2MV’s success.

Simon Stubbs plays an important role overseeing the General Haulage side of the business, helping to keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently. From planning and pricing jobs to invoicing, customer liaison and supporting drivers, his varied role involves plenty of problem-solving to keep everything moving when unexpected challenges arise.

Now's the Time to Prepare

Christmas may still feel some way off, but for retailers and supply chain teams, peak season planning should already be underway.

From Halloween and Black Friday through to the Christmas rush, the final months of the year bring a significant increase in freight volumes. As part of The Pallet Network (TPN) and a member of the Hazchem Network, 2MV is well placed to support customers through the busiest period of the year. However, preparation remains key to a successful peak season.

Top Tips for a Smooth Peak Season
💡 Start planning now. Sharing expected volumes early helps us allocate resources, identify potential challenges, and build flexibility into your supply chain. The earlier we can plan together, the better prepared we'll all be.
