Are you coming to our community open day this Saturday? The weather is looking perfect, and we're excited to announce that we are officially SOLD OUT! Please keep an eye on our page for any ticket cancellations if you missed out.

We are expecting it to be a busy day, so here is some key information to help you plan your journey and arrival times.

🚌 If you are planning to drive, we recommend using the Park & Ride which stops at the port, there are limited spaces in the multi-storey. Our city has great public transport links from buses, trains and access to e-scooters and e-bikes.

🎟 Please have your Eventbrite ticket ready to show port staff upon entry. Be prepared for bag searches and ID checks.

🥁 Performances from RNA Choir at 10:00, and Batala at 11:30 and 14:00

☕ Food and drinks are available to purchase from our on-site cafe, Ceanos and out on the quay refreshments will be available from Caravanilla and Queenie’s Tearoom.

🐾 Unfortunately we are a working port, so no dogs will be allowed on site.

🌤 The forecast is saying lovely sunshine, please bring sunscreen or hats as there’s limited shade out on the quay.

📣 Our port is fully accessible with lifts available throughout the port, access to the quayside will be on foot so wheelchairs and scooters are advised. Please note wheelchair access to board vessels may be limited due to tidal restrictions.

We look forwarding to seeing you! More detailed information can be found here: https://portsmouth-port.co.uk/news/port-open-day-pre-event-information/

Today saw a new visitor in the port, with Aurora Expeditions state-of-the-art expedition ship 'Douglas Mawson' picking up passengers for a one way cruise to Paris. Named after the legendary Australian geologist and explorer, the vessel is designed for global discovery with a luxury feel.

Our deputy port director Ian Diaper and cruise officer Jamie Charman were onboard to welcome Captain Artem Kolmykov and his crew to Portsmouth. She will set sail at 1700 tonight.

If you or someone you know has recently lost a cuddly companion, we’d love to help bring them back where they belong 🏡✨

Please share to help reunite the teddys.
