At Stellar Despatch, our customer service team prides itself on answering your calls in seconds, especially when a critical same-day delivery is on the line. But for those brief moments when you are placed on hold while we track down a driver or confirm a collection, you deserve a proper tune.

We are officially updating our hold music and want your input. Naturally, we are leaning towards a driving, courier, or transport theme, but we are open to persuasion.

What track would make you tap your desk instead of rolling your eyes while waiting? Drop your best suggestions in the comments.

Following hot on the heels of our recent World Cup sweepstake success, where one of our fantastic clients helped support the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, we have even more brilliant charity news to share from the Stellar Despatch team!

On Friday 24th July, a charity fundraising golf day was held at the stunning Cowdray Park in Midhurst, bringing together 20 eager teams to tee off in aid of two incredible causes: the Fire Fighters Charity and the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex . It was a fantastic day with the top-scoring winning golf team made up of local firefighters and members of the Guildford Phoenix Ice Hockey Team.

So far, an astonishing £11,500 has been raised, with even more donations still trickling in, meaning the real winners of the day were undoubtedly the charities themselves.

Our very own Operations Director (and keen golfer) Wayne Challen was one of the organisers behind the day. Reflecting on the event's impressive outcome, Wayne shared how rewarding it was to see everyone come together and raise such a substantial amount for two vital services. We couldn't be prouder of Wayne's efforts and the incredible generosity of everyone involved!

And the winner is… Mindworks Marketing! 🏆 💃

A huge congratulations to Caroline and the team at Mindworks, who drew Spain and took home first place in our World Cup Charity Sweepstake!

Today we popped in to celebrate their win. Mindworks has chosen to donate the £500 to the incredible cause at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, a truly vital charity that does essential, life-saving work across our region. 🚁✨

Thank you to Mindworks for being such fantastic sport, and to everyone who took part in our sweepstake.

Fantastic riding from James over the weekend! Going completely unbeaten through the heats at the European Challenge in Bielefeld is no mean feat, and he thoroughly deserved that podium spot.

Everyone at Stellar Despatch is cheering you on all the way.🏁🏆

☺️ We came. We saw. We conquered. We qualified.
James rode at Bielefeld today in the European Challenge where he went through the heats unbeaten. Sadly the weather won out and the meeting was called before the finals could be completed

From Urgent Delivery to New Life: A Stellar Success Story! 🐴✨

Nearly a year ago, we received a booking that was a little more unusual than our standard urgent documents or manufacturing parts. We were entrusted with a highly time-critical delivery, transporting the necessary frozen specimen from the north of England all the way down to the South Downs, where a mare was waiting.

With such a delicate and time-sensitive shipment, there was absolutely no room for delay. Our courier ensured the temperature-controlled cargo arrived safely and precisely on schedule, playing a small but vital part in a much bigger journey. 📦⏱️

Over the weekend, we received the wonderful news that, the beautiful, healthy foal we helped make possible was safely born.

Meet Nala! 🐎😍

Huge congratulations to Nala’s owners, and a massive well done to our operation teams for ensuring a flawless delivery.

Welcome to the world, Nala! 🥳

Sunday turned out to be a fantastic day for golf for our sponsored team at Blackmoor. They went head-to-head with Frilford Heath Golf Club in the Brockenhurst Stag knockout and came away with a very hard-earned 9½ - 2½ victory. Seeing that level of precision and teamwork pay off is exactly why we love being involved with the club. It was a stellar match from start to finish, and we couldn't be prouder of the results the team is delivering this season. Huge thanks to the players for another successful outing. ⛳️

It has been an absolute flyer of a start to the sporting season for the teams we are proud to support. We are still buzzing from James Shanes’ (smiley-racing) fantastic victory at the Ledbury grasstrack course, a brilliant display of skill and speed that really set the tone for the months ahead. You can follow his progress over at https://www.smiley-racing.com/.

The winning streak continued on the greens, too. A massive congratulations to the Blackmoor Golf Club Scratch team for their hard-fought 7-5 away win against Rowlands Castle. Securing a victory in the Beckford Bowl, a prestigious and notoriously tough 36-hole knockout competition across the South of England. Find out more about the club here: https://www.blackmoorgolf.co.uk/.

Seeing our sponsored partners hit the ground running like this is fantastic, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds for them!
