r system which protects it from adverse easterly weather conditions. Portland Port offers a safe, sheltered and deep harbour which makes it a superb choice for all vessels, from small yachts to some of the largest cruise ships in the world. Our reception & offices are open Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
The Marine department is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The first Hunters Day is almost here.

Across the UK, paddlers are preparing to take to the water to say thank you to hospice care.

Students swapped the classroom for the quayside on a voyage of discovery at Portland Port UK.

Groups from Coastland College and Wey Valley School in Weymouth were among the latest to visit along with a work experience placement. Travel and tourism students from the college had the opportunity to see behind the scenes of a successful cruise call when the AIDAluna visited.

The five-strong group were able to see the logistics involved, watch passengers disembark for excursions and shuttle buses and tour the bridge where they met the ship’s captain and crew.

The "Captains Tearoom" is renowned for delicious Dorset Apple Cake, Scones and Cream Teas
Built by Henry VIII in 1539, a Tudor fortress with more than 400 years of history
Come along to Portland Castle to enjoy the peaceful & tranquil gardens .
