Portland Port UK Portland Port is a thriving commercial port located on the UK's south coast. It offers a safe, sheltered and deep harbour.

Welcome to Portland, a thriving commercial port located on the UK's south coast. The port's close proximity to the English Channel shipping lanes provides an ideal location for vessels both in terms of distance and travel time. The harbour is well protected from the south and south westerly winds, as it shelters behind the Isle of Portland and Chesil Beach, and is circled by an extensive breakwater system which protects it from adverse easterly weather conditions. Portland Port offers a safe, sheltered and deep harbour which makes it a superb choice for all vessels, from small yachts to some of the largest cruise ships in the world. Our reception & offices are open Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
The Marine department is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

đź“Ť ADD YOUR PADDLE HERE
https://map.huntersday.org/

đź’™ 2 days to go. đź’™

The first Hunters Day is almost here.

Across the UK, paddlers are preparing to take to the water to say thank you to hospice care.

Whether you're paddling with a club, a few friends, or your family, we'd love you to be part of the story.
Every paddle counts. Every pin says thank you.

A huge thank you to everyone already supporting Hunters Day, including Paddle UK, the clubs, magazines, community groups and, most importantly, the hundreds of paddlers who are making this possible.

Together, we're building something special.

đź’™ Together on the water.

Students swapped the classroom for the quayside on a voyage of discovery at Portland Port UK.

Groups from Coastland College and Wey Valley School in Weymouth were among the latest to visit along with a work experience placement. Travel and tourism students from the college had the opportunity to see behind the scenes of a successful cruise call when the AIDAluna visited.

The five-strong group were able to see the logistics involved, watch passengers disembark for excursions and shuttle buses and tour the bridge where they met the ship’s captain and crew.
