Thoughts with everyone following the Middle East escalations this weekend - I’m sure we all know someone who is currently living / holidaying / transiting through the affected countries.
‼️As of yesterday, 1 March 2026, the FCDO has advised all but essential travel to:
- Bahrain
- Qatar
- UAE
Other countries in the area travel is not permitted to and others have border restrictions.

I have customers currently in Croatia and checked in with them yesterday evening & customers departed this morning to New York City and I checked with them last night and this morning.
✈️ Airline Updates
Emirates have suspended all operations until 3pm UAE (11am UK) time on Tuesday 3 March.
Etihad Airways have suspended all operations until 2pm UAE (10am UK) time on Tuesday 3 March.
British Airways are allowing customers flying between London Heathrow and Abu Dhabi, Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai or Tel Aviv up to 15 March to change their flight date free of charge to travel on or before 29 March.
Those travelling up to 8 March may also request a full refund.
Virgin Atlantic have rerouted some of our flights and taken the decision to cancel some of our upcoming services between London Heathrow and Dubai, as well as services between London Heathrow and Riyadh.
The following are cancelled-
VS401 Dubai - London Heathrow 2 March
VS243 Riyadh - London Heathrow 2 March
Malaysian Airlines have suspended flights to/from Doha, Jeddah and Madinah on 28 February - 5 March 2026.
Singapore Airlines has cancelled flights from 28 February to 7 March 2026:
· SQ494 departing Singapore for Dubai
· SQ495 departing Dubai for Singapore
Qatar Airways flights to, and from, Doha have been suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace.
