Nearly finished the Dutch pride after 3 weeks in the shed . Wanted to make her little different to the Dutch courage. First time I’ve ever built a tug from a kit .
Definitely not an easy build !
Don’t know how inexperienced modellers do these ! Very difficult to get it right . Did my own folding mast cos I was bored lol

Renovation finished on the maersk tug ! It’s been a pleasurable journey rescuing her from a damp corner of a shed where she was destined to spend the rest of her days ! Lots of work but I feel it has turned out well ! 55ins long 14ins beam, she’s double skinned and self ballasting. Would like to keep her but she will have to go .

55ins long 1/50 scale lots of work but I must admit it looks a lovely tug now and sailed beautifully.
