Queen Elizabeth II • 1926 – 2022

Yesterday's news was a lot for many to process. And as the nation grieves this loss, we thought it would be appropriate to share a lovely quote from Queen Elizabeth about love and her marriage:

♡ "We behave as though we had belonged to each other for years."

She wrote that in a personal letter written during her honeymoon. A really sweet way to describe marriage: a strong unit who ultimately, had always belonged.

She understood the power and preciousness of love, and had strong feelings about the sanctity of marriage.

So for any couples whose special day was already booked for this weekend or the coming weeks, please enjoy every moment knowing that Her Majesty was always one to celebrate love, and the joining of hands in marriage.

Rest in peace, Your Majesty.
