🚛 Overcoming Steps & 3-Story Townhouses: Okehampton to Colyton! 📦✨

Moving across Devon comes with its unique challenges, but taking the stress off our clients is always job number one!

We recently completed a long-distance relocation from Okehampton to Colyton (near Sidmouth). To keep things completely hassle-free, we spread this move across 2 days—giving our customer plenty of breathing room instead of rushing everything in a single high-pressure afternoon! 🛏️💨

📦 2 Pickup Locations, 2 Vans, 32°C Heat, & 1 Happy Returning Customer! ☀️🚛

There is no higher compliment in this industry than when a customer chooses to move with us a second time! We were absolutely delighted to welcome back a familiar face last week for another local Plymouth move—though the British weather certainly decided to turn the heat up for us at a sweltering 32°C! 🥵☀️

This project was all about coordination and logistics. Our client needed a multi-stop, single-day relocation requiring plenty of space and careful timing across the city.

The Game Plan:

2 Vans & A Powerhouse Crew: Deployed to handle a massive volume of belongings efficiently in the summer heat.

Pickup 1: Loaded up from Christian Mill Business Park. 🏢

Pickup 2: Headed over to West Hooe to gather the rest of the household items. 🌊

The Final Drop: Everything safely combined, transported, and delivered into their new place in Mutley. 🏡

Juggling multiple pickup points on a tight single-day schedule requires a really strategic loading plan, but the lads smashed it out of the park. Despite the blazing temperatures, both vans were loaded, moved, and unloaded with our signature meticulous care—ensuring everything arrived in Mutley perfectly intact.

🚚 34°C Heatwave, 2 Flights of Stairs, & A Cross-Country Relocation! 🥵☀️

When we say we handle the heavy lifting so you don't have to, we really mean it! Check out the lads catching a well-deserved breather on the Torpoint Ferry during one of our recent long-distance moves. 🚢💨

This one was a massive team effort over two days. We were moving our lovely customer, Bobbi, from a 1st-floor flat in Torpoint, Cornwall, all the way up to a 1st-floor apartment complex in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

The Challenge:

34°C Heatwave: Pure, unrelenting summer sun the entire time.

Stairs, Stairs, & More Stairs: Both flats were on the first floor, meaning about 15–20 steep stairs to conquer at both ends of the trip.

Tricky Access & Logistics: Poor access for the vehicles at both locations meant plenty of walking, alongside managing an overnight hold to fit around Bobbi's work schedule.

We loaded up everything safely on Day 1, got an ultra-early start on Day 2 to beat the worst of the motorway traffic, and smashed it out. Despite the brutal heat and tight spaces, Paul and the 3-man team ensured every single piece of furniture arrived in pristine condition without a single scratch.

Bobbi left us this incredible 5-star review, and honestly, this is exactly why we love what we do:
