Ruby is getting the hang of this driving malarkey & I believe quite enjoying it. Now she waits, doesn’t get stroppy & listens! We took to the road with the tyre & ended with attaching the carriage. She bossed it!!!

Esmerelda has been a star & I got on board today. She has been learning how to hold herself, move forward whilst doing so, standing at the mounting block & today we mastered walking, turning & getting off. Only way is up forward right…

What a fab afternoon at Princetown preschool. The children were a bit nervous at the start but soon warmed up to the ponies. Peanut & Wizzle helped with drawing horse shoes & then we went for a walk altogether to play some games. Wonderful to see the children come alive with smiles & asking all types of questions 🥰

We stopped on the way to say hello to our local councillor & the charity shop to thank them 😍

Sleepy Peanut doesn’t want to get up, once she heard Wizzle was ready she did eventually get up 🥰 off to Princetown Pre-School New to see some smiley faces 😃

Come & spend time with the horses learning/experiencing all about carriage driving & other skills.

Accommodation has a hot tub, cooking facilities or there are local pubs/cafes a stones throw away.

Plenty of down time to see the area if you wish, including the Wilder Sauna @ Dartmeet, the prison museum, walks around the local area & much more.

Arrive on the Sunday (check in from 3pm) meet & greet with myself & others to settle in. Check out would be 10am on the last day of your retreat.

Peggy is the last of 2026 horses in to produce to drive. She needs to learn patience when standing & to wait for her next command before we can do anything else. Little snippet of her long lining

These girls bring so much joy to so many people. Yesterday we visited the very first home Underhill Residential Home we ever went in to, time & time again the residents love them 🧡
