As part of 125 Preservation's convertion of our mk3 42357 into 1st class accommodation we have decided to sell some of our surplus standard class seats.

These are offered for sale with full consent of the owner and funds raised will go towards the purchase of the 1st class interior and our continuing refurbishment.

The sale consists of the following parts:
1x seat seat base frame.
2x seat frames C/W back panels.
2x LNER/Virgin seat cushion
3x arm rests
8x nuts and washers for attaching seats to base frame.
please note some back panels have airline style tables and some are plain.

Please note that the sale is for a two seats with all the above components, at this point we are not selling individual components.

Items showing in the pictures that are NOT included in sale are the upright pillars, tables and any side trims.

In service these are fitted to the wall and floor using 10mm bolts, however you will need to fabricate your own suitable legs/mountings and ideally for safety be bolted to the floor.

Seats are generally in good condition but are by no means new and may show some wear and tear.

Due to the weight they are strictly collection only from the following location by prior arrangement.
PE2 9NR Saturday's and Sunday's 10:00 until 15:30

Buyer will be able to pick their choice of the sets of seats from the ones available on a first come, first served basis.

125 Preservation on tour.
43025 and 43159 performed extremely well and we had smiling faces from all customers on board.
Helping on the 125 Group railtour to Saltburn. In the kitchen, buffet and onboard shop.
Excellent day out for both passengers and onboard team.
We ran low on food and drink so took the train to Sainsbury’s to get more stock.

Tables for the refurbishment of 42357.
Elongating the mounting slots in the feet to align with the rails in the floor. The mods are required as we are installing Mk4 tables and they are slightly different to MK3.

Work has been steadily progressing to remove the vinyls and the glue from 42355.
A more enjoyable(?) job with the warmer weather.
Multiple holes have been found which will be fixed in due course.
42357 will then get the same treatment ready for a new livery for both.

This is starting to look really good. Please have a look at Artist James Green his paintings are outstanding.
Limited edition print no1 & no2 already sold

This painting currently sits on my drawing board. When finished it will show a line up of Intercity 125 High Speed Trains at Paddington station.
It's a bit of a challenge but I'm really enjoying painting the intricate details of the roofs on this one.
