Our story
Ptolemy (Tol) has been painting boats since he was a young lad. He got all the hard jobs like prep work and “rubbing down” while working with his dad Malcolm.
As time went on he got into painting and has never looked back. He works extremely hard to achieve the best finish on all boats and that customers are happy with their paintwork.
I met Ptolemy and his family when they moved to Blackthorn Lake Marina in Ringstead. After being together for a while we both decided to cruise the canals and paint boats on the cut. We did this for over 3 years and decided it was time to move into a workshop. The good old British weather was not so good when painting outside!
We first bought a floating dry dock but were unable to find a mooring for it. We then visited Lilford Marina and were able to secure a workshop! Now we don't mind the weather as we can paint all year round!
