Hi everyone - We are back! The season is hopefully about to start so we want to make sure you are fully equipped! We have in the previous years catered to many households around Oxfordshire, several colleges, universities and also cafes and are hoping to do the same this year!
π»πΉπ·
As many of you know, we have offered homemade planters made from reclaimed wood (trying to do our bit for the planet!) made by our nearly 80 year old retired carpenter friend in Bicester!
π§βπΎπͺ΅π
He will carefully source the right wood (often palletwood), break it down and or cut it to the right size, do his magic by putting them together and then line them with a breathable anti w**d membrane to allow for moisture control. Lead time is usually two to three days. Upon request for larger orders we can discuss the realistic timeframe!
ππ₯¬π
Measurements are usually approximately W120 D35/40 H35/40 in centimetres but we can make sure they are not longer than a certain length upon request so that they fit in a certain space. They are suitable for any type of flower, fruit or vegetable apart from e.g. carrots or anything that requires that extra depth!
π¨ππ
Any wood he chooses will be weatherproof, but wood of course does weather over time, so if you did want to extend or add colour then I can highly recommend a thin coat of fence stain or outdoor paint to be applied before filling up with compost or soil so that they blend in with your existing garden. The majority of our customers have enjoyed them unpainted as they give out a rustic look as they are. Either way they are good to go upon delivery!

Most of the proceeds go to our retired friend who makes them, therefore we do not make a lot on them. The price would be for one delivered in either Bicester or Oxford, anywhere further we will have to add a delivery fee depending on location to cover our van costs, but this can be discussed!

As we usually do man and van and removals, please feel free to contact me if you ever need anything moved. Any questions please ask or call me on the top number or Google Martini Moves and ask to speak to Nathan!
