Hammonds 100 Walks

Hi there everyone,

Already a month on from finalising the first mammoth walk to/from Loughborough on the South Notts 1, I'm delighted to announce the second one, and this is purely by chance.... Is the former Navy Line 2!!

Linking a large part of the outer edge of Clifton estate, the 2 offered a half hourly service to Nottingham, joining forces with the 1 and 4 at Fabis Drive, running in via Wilford Lane and Trent Bridge.

Group member Lewis contacted me the other month ust as this challenge was going live to say he'd like to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support as his mum's currently battling cancer.

After checking my inbox after having a walk request from a Lewis (unsure of surname) in honour of his mum, the message has disappeared.

If you can send me a message again, I’m finalising the October walk for your cause which will be the old route 2 to/from Clifton, thank you 🙏

Here’s the bumper haul of photos from today’s efforts in the rain… The South Notts 1 from Loughborough to Nottingham via Stanford-on-Soar, East Leake, Gotham, Clifton, Wilford Green and Trent Bridge!!

Another 16.7 miles down for the count, taking the full round trip to just over 34 miles.

All money raised will go to Falcon Support Services, thank you to everyone that was able to donate something 💙
