Double deck buses will be in use on the Pathfinder 90 tomorrow, Saturday 5 September, to provide extra capacity for Nottingham Forest Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur at The City Ground! 🔴⚽️

For customers travelling to and from the City Centre, our South Notts 1 and Green Line 5–12 provide a frequent service, with stops just a short walk from the ground.

⚠️ A52 NOTTINGHAM JUNCTIONS - UPCOMING UTILITIES WORK AND ROAD CLOSURES ⚠️

We're continuing to prepare for the A52 Nottingham junctions scheme, which will deliver major improvements at Wheatcroft and Nottingham Knight junctions.

To enable the main construction works, utility companies will begin diverting services at Wheatcroft junction from Monday 7 September 2026. These works are expected to continue for around three months with lane closures in place from Monday to Friday.

Here's what's happening:

📅 Monday 21 September (8am) to Friday 25 September (6pm)
A section of Flawforth Lane where it joins the A52 at Wheatcroft Junction will be fully closed.

📅 Friday 25 September to Monday 28 September 2026 🕗 8pm to 6am each night
Part of the A52 (Gamston Link Road) at Wheatcroft Junction will be closed overnight. The road will reopen during the day between closures.

➡️ Signed diversion routes will be in place.

⚠️ Traffic management, including lane closures and a temporary 40mph speed limit, will also be in place on sections of the A52 while work is carried out.

Please plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey. We appreciate your patience while we carry out these important improvements.

We're looking forward to serving Assarts Farm and Nottingham Business Park with our extended Turquoise 78 from Tuesday 1 September 2026 🩵

The extension will replace the former CT4N Local Link L2 in this area and will provide connections into the wider NCT network.

The introductory timetable will operate generally every hour, Monday to Saturday daytime, with a full 30-minute service being introduced from Monday 28 September 2026.

The East Midlands Combined County Authority have announced more replacement bus updates after CT4N sadly ceased operating.

Notts & Derby buses will provide replacement services for parts of former Locallink services 20, L2, L4 and L14.

Further replacement services have been confirmed following the closure of CT4N. The L2, L4 and L14 services will begin from Tuesday 1 September, alongside the replacement Derbyshire DRT service in the Bolsover, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire area, operated by Notts and Derby Buses.

Passengers using the Derbyshire DRT service will need to download the new booking app, available for iOS and Android. Replacement services for the 300 service and Derbyshire Connect Eastern area shopping bus are also being procured, with more information on start dates and operators to follow. Please check before you travel.
