East Midlands Equine Horse Transport

East Midlands Equine Horse Transport I have had an interest in horses and ponies since childhood and have worked with them most of my life.
(316)

At one point I was working for Fred, Mary and David Broom as a groom and my interest continued. I then started breaking and schooling and solving problems with other peopleโ€™s horses. In 1993 I went to work for a dealer, breaking, schooling, competing etc, and in 1995 I started my company East Midlands Equine; in the first instance, initially as a horse transport company. I had seen for myself ove

r the years how the way in which horses were loaded and transported could be improved and this is what I set out to achieve. My ethos is that the horse always comes first. 5 years later My Company expanded to include the other side of my passion โ€“ schooling, breaking โ€“ and for 26 years my company has grown from strength to strength. I have some excellent staff that understands my way of looking after and working the horse, either on livery, in for behavioural problems, breaking, schooling or competing for owners.

FOOD SECURITY: SHOULD BRITAIN STOP RELYING ON IMPORTS AND BACK OUR OWN FARMERS FIRST? ๐Ÿšœ๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿฅฉ

For generations, the rolling green fields and beautiful countryside of Great Britain have been more than just a stunning landscapeโ€”they have been the ultimate backbone of our national self-reliance. ๐Ÿ›๏ธโœจ British farmers work around the clock, through every season, to produce some of the highest-quality, safest, and most sustainably sourced food in the entire world. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿฅฆ

Yet today, our domestic agricultural sector is facing an existential crisis. Struggling under the weight of soaring production costs, confusing post-Brexit subsidy schemes, and aggressive undercutting from cheap, low-standard food imports, many local farms are being pushed out of business completely. ๐Ÿ“‰๐Ÿ›‘

The powerful and strategic message on "06 02.jpg" strikes a massive common-sense nerve inside communities up and down the country: Is it time to legally protect our food supply and put British farmers first? ๐Ÿ›๏ธโšก

Proponents of this "Farmers First" approach argue that achieving national food security is a matter of absolute survival and independence. ๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง They believe it is madness to import tons of produce from halfway across the world while leaving our own rich agricultural land underutilized. For millions of consumers and patriots, buying local British food reduces carbon footprints, secures jobs within rural communities, and ensures that what we feed our families adheres to top-tier animal welfare and safety standards. They argue the government must step in to stop unfair supermarket pricing tactics and back the British tractor. ๐Ÿšœโค๏ธ

On the flip side, global trade analysts and supermarket coordinators point out that Britainโ€™s climate makes it impossible to grow certain crops year-round, arguing that international supply chains and open-market trade agreements are completely vital to keeping grocery shelves fully stocked and prices affordable for struggling families during a cost-of-living squeeze. ๐Ÿ’ธโŒ

But as international instability highlights the extreme dangers of relying too heavily on foreign imports, the ultimate question remains: Should our nation make a defining commitment to back our own land, protect our heritage, and feed ourselves? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿง

True sovereignty begins on our own fields and kitchen tables. ๐Ÿ’‚โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ

Let's see where the country stands on standing by our hardworking agricultural heroes.
