ROUTE 66 Update

From Monday 6th July, ROUTE 66 will return to its pre-diversion route, providing quicker journeys into Loughborough.

We will be out on Saturday Morning replacing all the roadside information and delivering paper timetables to the Post Office and Village Stores in Sutton Bonington.

Some daytime journeys will continue through to Kegworth and maintain connections to local shops and amenities.

Timetables also available from our team of drivers Friday and Saturday on board the bus.

MINIBUS DRIVER VACANCY – CHESTERFIELD OUTSTATION

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the minibus team at CT4N.

This position is to operate the Demand Respond Transport (DRT) Service based at our Chesterfield Outstation.

The DRT Service operates Monday to Saturday between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 until 17:00 Saturday.

There is currently a three-week rota operating on this service, so you will be working two Saturday’s out of three across a four-day working week.

The role involves driving to various locations across Derbyshire and picking up customers to take them to either work, school, college or shopping trips, so no two days are the same.

A friendly and personal approach is required for this role, as you will also be transporting customers who may have additional needs, such as those travelling in a wheelchair, elderly, or disabled.

Long Eaton Carnival takes place on Saturday 20th June, with the carnival parade taking place between 11:00 and 12:45 when the parade arrives at West Park.

This will result in a rolling road block which will affect Service 29.

With that in mind, the following journeys will not operate on Saturday 20th June:

❌ 11:05 Long Eaton to Sandiacre
❌ 11:34 Sandiacre to Long Eaton

The following journeys will be subject to delays if the carnival parade is still proceeding:

⚠️ 12:05 and 13:05 Long Eaton to Sandiacre
⚠️ 12:34 and 13:34 Sandiacre to Long Eaton

✅ Normal service levels will return from 14:05
