After posting about the sad loss of the Richard Herrod Centre somebody commented with some pictures from a party they had on the old ski slope. 🎿

This absolutely made my day and brought back so many memories!

Facebook won't let me tag them for some reason but thanks for the memories! 💛

I still can't believe the Richard Herrod Centre is actually going. 😭

Keys have been handed over to developers today. 😢

I have so many memories from this place.

One of the best birthdays I ever had was on the dry ski slope, sledging with all my friends, water spraying on the slope from the sprinklers, flying off the sledge at the bottom and getting carpet burns all over my legs then endlessly running back up to go again. 💛

Walking down to the fun fair with my mates to hang around and hopefully find a dropped quid near the rides. 💰

And then even taking my kids to parties there, craft fairs and family days. 🥳

Let's hope the new leisure hub is just as good for the future generations.

I'll be back to steal a brick for the garden when they actually demolish it. 😅

I always leave spiders where they are, it's not that we like them but I flipping hate flies and spiders eat flies right? 🤣🤣

This one started above our headboard and made his way to the hallway, he has now disappeared so I've probably ate him in my sleep. 🤣

The way things are currently handled is an absolute joke.

A big shake up in the industry is definitely needed. There is no excuse for the way most Solicitors go through the process.

A little support from us for the Arnold Eagles Girls and Ladies FC Presentation, Fundraiser and fun day with a little prize for their raffle!

I didn't even know about them until they contacted us asking if we could help out with a prize! 🏆

After looking at their page and seeing how many teams and players they have we thought it was a worthy cause for a golden ticket. 😎

Anything that builds confidence and self esteem in our younger generation and also keeps them fit and healthy is a win win for me!

🥳 Who's going to the Rum & Reggae Fest UK in Colwick?? 🥳

It will be the first music festival I've ever been to! 😅

Yes....40 years old and I've never been to a festival. 🤣

Festivals just aren't really my thing but I love the music and there are so many people I love to listen to in the lineup that I feel I need to go! 💪🏼

I've recruited a couple of friends to come who also aren't really festival fans so we are gonna have the greatest time ever or we will be sneaking home after an hour. 😅🤣

Yet again I always say put yourself out of your comfort zones and I feel this is an awesome opportunity to put myself well out of mine. 🤣😎

Well after plodding along trying to stay away from tablets I gave In yesterday and fetched these from the chemist.

To those taking them....did you need to take them for a while to get the benefit because they are doing naff all 🤣🤣🤣

I have also ordered pollen tablets which I have been researching but they are a long term fix to desensitize your body to the pollen so as soon as they come I'm starting on it. 😎
