A very important job that is carried out behind the scenes is getting the movement orders ready.

Every train that leaves Aylsham needs to have a movement order, which has the planned journey details on and the Driver and Guard fills them out throughout the journey as they get authorisation from the Controller to enter each section.

Fun fact for a Special Event as busy as Everything Goes over 20 Movement Orders per day to make sure every locomotive has one for each trip.

This week, after the railway public services had finished, BVR 3 made her first movements around Aylsham after recent maintenance work was completed which had her out of use since March.

After final testing and any last adjustments we look forward to BVR 3 being in service for Everything Goes this weekend and also for the Pink Service days during Half Term.
