The Broads community really is something special. ⚓

We were surprised today with a lovely thank you card and some treats from a family who visited us earlier this week. Although they were holidaying with another boat yard, they ran into a bit of an emergency when their beautiful Labrador, Saffy, had a slip on board. 🐾

Our team was more than happy to help them secure a safe mooring and get in touch with a local emergency vet. We’ve just had word that Saffy is feeling much better and is back to enjoying her holiday! 🙌

It doesn’t matter which yard you’ve hired from; out here on the water, we all look out for one another. That’s what makes the Norfolk Broads such a wonderful place to be.

this week our boat of the week is one of our most popular modes, the Broom Captain.

The Broom 35 Coupe was optimised for the inland waterways with the low air draft ideal for exploring inland rivers. The customisable layout features movable furnishings and the bi-fold doors link the spacious saloon with the aft cockpit. A two-way seat on the aft deck adds to the boats flexibility. The accommodation features a comfortable double island-berth cabin forward, with a lower galley. The deck saloon sofa contains a pull-out sofa bed for an occasional additional berth.
