Day 24: The Final Message from Santa

It’s Christmas Eve! 🎄 Santa has sent his final message to Routie and Groupie—their mission is complete! 🥳 After 24 days of holiday fun, mischief, and spreading cheer around the Route1 HQ, the elves are finally heading back to Lapland.

As they pack up and prepare for their long journey home, they leave behind a trail of sparkling holiday magic and unforgettable memories. From snowball fights in the assembly room to climbing artic lorries and causing chaos with photocopiers, it’s been an adventure they’ll never forget.

Merry Christmas from the elves at Route1! 🎅✨ We hope to see you again in 2025—until then, keep the holiday spirit alive! 🎁

Day 23: Ready to Drive Home
The elves are in the driver’s seat, ready to take the lorry back to Lapland! 🎅 Just one problem… turns out driving takes practice.

Day 22: Climbing the Artic Lorry

Adventure time! 🚛 With the help of a trusty candy cane for extra grip, Routie and Groupie decided to tackle one of Route1’s mighty artic lorries today. It’s a long way up, but hey, they’re elves—they can handle it!

After a bit of climbing (and a few “whoops!”), Routie reached the top and took in the view, feeling like he was on top of the world! 🌍 But... where was Groupie? 🤔 Turns out, Groupie got a little distracted halfway up (we suspect he was nibbling on the candy cane) and hasn’t quite made it to the top yet!

Looks like Routie’s got the view covered for now, but we’re sure Groupie will catch up—eventually! Maybe he just wanted to check out the fleet from a different angle. 😜

Day 21: High-Vis Return to the Warehouse

Back in the warehouse and this time, the elves are taking elf safety seriously! ✔️ With their brand new high-vis jackets on, Routie and Groupie are ready to own the warehouse floor. They mean business!

Channeling their inner warehouse professionals, they’ve been exploring every package, checking off imaginary inventory lists, and pretending to operate forklifts (very carefully, of course). Who knew the elves had such a knack for logistics? 😆

With their high-vis gear shining bright, they’re making sure to keep things safe and sparkly—because safety first, fun second, but definitely lots of both.

Day 20: Christmas Chaos & Coffee Break

Amid all the Christmas chaos of Route1’s 24/7 operation and peak trading madness, Routie and Groupie decided it was time to hit pause for a well-deserved break. ☕ With the holiday fun (and mischief) at full speed, the elves knew they needed to recharge before diving into the next round of festive antics.

So, they grabbed some hot cocoa, topped with marshmallows (because, let’s be honest, what’s a coffee break without some extra sweetness?), and settled in for a cozy moment. The cocoa was the perfect fuel to power through the final stretch of holiday mayhem!

After all, with the holidays in full swing, even the busiest elves need to recharge and get ready for more Christmas chaos. 🎄🎉

Day 19: Spotted by Managing Director, Richard in the Snow

Uh-oh, the elves were caught in the act! ❄️ Routie and Groupie were outside, frolicking in the snow, making snow angels (well, elf-sized snow angels) and leaving behind a trail of tiny footprints that were nearly as cute as they were mischievous.

But just as they were mid-dance in a snowflake-filled twirl, who should appear but Richard, the Managing Director! 👀 He spotted the two elves, laughing and playing in the winter wonderland, and couldn’t help but chuckle at their antics.

Routie and Groupie froze in place for a split second—trying to be stealthy, but let's be honest, they’re not exactly known for their undercover skills. 😆

As soon as Richard waved at them, they panicked and dashed back inside, leaving a blurry trail of elf footprints in their wake. But it was too late—Richard had seen it all! Looks like these two will be the talk of the HQ for a while! 😉

Day 18: Teams Success and High-Vis Gear

Success at last! 🎉 After what felt like endless attempts, Routie and Groupie finally figured out how to get on a Teams call with Santa! They were beyond excited (and maybe a little relieved) as they connected with the big man himself. Santa greeted them warmly, but after a few minutes of catching up, he kindly reminded the mischievous elves of something very important: “If you’re going to be hanging out in the warehouse, you need to wear high-vis jackets!”

The elves, never ones to back down from a challenge, rushed off to find some high-vis gear. Within minutes, Routie and Groupie were sporting their own mini high-vis vests, looking like the most stylish (and safest) elves in the warehouse. 🦸‍♂️

With their new safety gear in place, they were ready for their next adventure—but they didn’t forget to send a thank you to Santa for keeping them on track. Looks like safety first, fun second—although we’re pretty sure it’ll be a mix of both! 😉
