We had the pleasure of delivering this lovely FTPXG.530 to our friends Charles Jackson & Co Ltd based in Long Buckby this week. This XG was complete with blowing and hydraulic equipment fitted by Gardner Denver, with the Cab wrap completed by Finch Signs Ltd.
This New Generation DAF was delivered to a family run operation who offer solutions to crop storage, processing and marketing for wheat, barley, oat, oilseed r**e and bean growers in the local area.
This new truck is the 4th new DAF to enter their fleet in recent years with 2 more following shortly. These will be maintained by our depot in Daventry on a full DAF Repair and Maintenance contract. We would like to thank Charles, Jane, Martyn and the team at Charles Jackson & Co Ltd for their continued business.

***JOB OPPORTUNITY***

Plant Operator

Main responsibilities are to carry out the day to day running of the Plant and surrounding area and ensure all company procedures and policies are adhered to.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- completing and documenting daily checks
- carrying out the required quality testing/ inspections on both product and equipment
- carrying out both scheduled and daily cleaning of the plant
- identifying, reporting and carrying out minor repairs and maintenance
- assisting drivers in Tipping/Loading trailers and completing the relevant pre loading/tipping checks

Some agricultural knowledge is preferable but not essential.

Day and night shifts available, in a variety of working patterns.

We are holding our annual moisture meter clinic on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th June 2012. This is a free service held at our lab, available for all of our growers to have their moisture meters calibrated before Harvest.
