A century of wonder. Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough.

Few people have shaped the way we see our world as profoundly as Sir David Attenborough. Today, he turns 100.

Over seven decades of extraordinary filmmaking, he brought us face to face with creatures we might never have imagined, and landscapes so vast and so beautiful they made the everyday feel small. He reminded us, again and again, that the natural world is not a backdrop to human life. It is the whole story.

Today is 'Save the Frogs Day' - 28th April

There are places in this world where, as dusk settles and the air thickens with warmth, you hear it before you see anything at all. A sound so ancient, so layered, so entirely of the earth, that it stops you wherever you are.

Frogs have been on this planet for over 250 million years. They have outlasted ice ages, mass extinctions and the slow reshaping of continents...and yet right now, quietly and without fanfare, more than a third of the world’s amphibian species are at risk of disappearing within our lifetimes.
