🐣 Happy Easter to all my customers! Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend! I have made the most of a couple of days off and much to Mrs Robinson’s relief, I have now finished transforming what was a dumping ground spare room into a room fit for Princess Ruby 👸

🏠 Today was spent painting a kitchen in and then this evening back to little billing to finish a fence painting job! Garden is now summer ready ☀️ 🪴

🚐 💨 Abit of a different job yesterday, trip to Swansea to collect 4 arcade machines, drop 1 of to Sega in Cardiff and then deliver the rest to an office space in Northampton. No lifts either side and a spiral stair case to get them up this end, Thanks to some perseverance, 2 vans and muscle 💪🏻 we got the job completed after a 15 hour day!

🌲 🏠 This is an empty rental property in need of lots of work.. 1st job.. garden to be cleared ready for the internal work to start as all the waste needed to come through the house!

☀️ 🌳 How lovely is this weather!? My customers have been making the most of it to get outdoor spaces sorted! My week has been spent painting sleeper borders, doing tip runs and clearing an overgrown pathway/patio area! And everything in between! Booking work into May now

🏠 It’s been a wet few days in Daventry for me and Jacob! But glad to have this one completed! Ivy removal from front of house along with de-mossing a flat garage roof then finally clearing all of the moss filled gutters and giving them a wipe down!

💪🏻 So this last week has been spent laying a patio for a 90 year old customer. Unfortunately she was subject to another “tradesman” taking a significant amount of money from her and the first picture is how the job was left since September last year.. no materials on site other than a few sleepers and no further contact.. 😡 A lot of hard work went into this job with no rear access on a terraced house and 5 tonne of sub base and gravel needed carrying through the house, along with bags of cement and sand! Reused the original slabs as no budget for replacements but a lot brighter after a quick power wash. Another day just to do the last few bits and will be done! A very happy and relieved customer, let’s hope Karma catches up with the other guy!

🏠 🔑 Is there anything more stressful than moving house?! Maybe getting your corner sofa there and realising it doesn’t fit through the lounge door.. 🤔 This wasn’t as easy as removing the arms as it was 1 fixed unit, after taking some of the supports out of the frame and a lot of pushing and shoving we got it in!

💦 A little emergency call out job completed this afternoon for a customer who’s drain was blocked. A result of a little boy obsessed with putting stones, cars, plastic toys and sticks in the drain.. someone’s not getting any treats from the shop for a while 👀😂 nice hot shower for me now!

🪜What goes up must come down! Christmas light removals completed today! And delivery of 3x chest of drawers to for my sister’s new house! Making the most of having Jacob with me before returning to school tomorrow! Taking bookings for February onwards!

🔨 🪛 I’ve spent the last couple of days in completing various works for a customer including rubbing down, priming and glossing this bannister and balustrade amazing how much brighter and bigger it looks being white!
