North Kilworth Marina Engineer Job Vacancy:
The role will include:
• Servicing a range of canal boat marine engines
• Engine fault finding and diagnostics
• Manoeuvring of boats in and around the marina
• Webasto and Eberspacher diagnostics (training will be provided)
• General site machinery servicing and maintenance
• Welding work
The Person:
The role will be suited to an individual who has a background in canal boats and engine work. They will need to be flexible and organised with a proactive approach to the task in hand working as an individual and in a team, supporting others where required. Attention to detail and ownership of the work is vital. They need to be able to handle and perform well under pressure and have the ability to meet targets and deadlines as the role can be demanding with time constraints.
A background in boat manoeuvring is desirable but not essential as training can be given to the right candidate.
