32 Years
3 Charter Boats
96,000 miles

My first pride and joy was ‘Celtic Monarch’ and my lifelong friend and co skipper Tracy Smith, helped build her in 1989, and my last will be my Irish mistress ‘Celtic Wildcat’.

‘The Wildcat’,as she has become known, both locally and abroad, is having a new owner.

Since 2004 when the Wildcat was ‘unleashed’ we have sailed approximately 4,000 miles a year together and become a distinctive presence on the Cleddau and beyond with the unmistakable sound and sleek hull lines powering through the water.

One head that has been particularly turned is that of friend and fellow charter boat skipper, Rob Rennie, who has a good looking Cougar(Lady Jen) and wished for a Wildcat to join her… I sense a theme here Rob..

At the end of October 2021 Rob is taking the Wildcat for a major refit and all being well she will be relaunched in Milford Haven next June 2022 under the ‘Custom Charter’ banner.

All bookings up to and including the 24th October 2021 will not be affected.
I will still take out some of my long-standing customers next year as
‘Custom Charter’ bookings and will be contacting all regular customers to redirect enquiries.

Over the years I have met so many interesting and enthusiastic people, and it has been my absolute privilege to be able to take them on ‘The Wildcat’.
I know that with Rob she will be looked after and enjoyed for many years to come.

‘Celtic Charter’ will disappear, but Skipper Nick O’Sullivan will not!

Nick will be available for relief skipper, crew on Mediterranean yachts, round the world fishing trips…….

After a week of poor weather it was good to get out. Plenty of Pollack, Coley and Codling out on the reefs.
