Just a quick check in and advice for people wanting furniture removing.
As of Saturday 8th, wood products are still being turned away from commercial skips. Something to do with the local recyclers being closed down or lost their license.
So rather than just role the dice, plesde contact your local council they are probably going to be so much cheaper and disposed of cleanly and properly. Same with sofas, mattresses and other soft furnishings.
For waste companies wanting to do everything by the law there is a labour fee for staff and costs plus weight for rubbish being weighed off and for example. It can vastly jump from high to low. Recently a van full of general waste £222 to this week £58 its a crab shoot.
Its expensive but worthwhile keeping the planet clean.
