One of my favourite spots and its so close to home is Carlingford Marina. Waking up to this view and chilling in the van looking out is just class.

There's great facilities, a safe and level place to park up, and the bonus of waking up right beside the water.

You’re a short walk into Carlingford village for food, coffee and a wander, with the Mournes and Cooley Mountains right on your doorstep.
Great for paddleboarding, walking, a quiet pint, or just sitting outside the van watching the boats come and go.

If you like your camping easy, scenic and stress-free, this one’s hard to beat.

A very Happy 3 year anniversary to Dug. This day was such an adventure, and on my own. Flew to Glasgow, train to Wishaw and met the amazing Danny who then introduced me to my Dug. Had a mad dash to the campsite as it nearly closed on me, stayed the night and got the boat home the next morning. I have never looked back on my decision

Something I never expected before starting renting out Dug was the amount of amazing people I would meet along the way. Haydn is definitely one of the gems 💎 He is a kind hearted, funny and a lovely soul that looked after Dug like he was his.

I genuinely look forward to having him back to see us and use Dug in the future. The boys still talk about Haydn 💙

Haydn set off in Dug for an unforgettable road trip around the coast of Northern Ireland 🚐💙
From the dramatic cliffs of the north coast near Portrush, to the Giant’s Causeway, Strangford Lough, Newcastle and finishing in Kilbroney, Rostrevor, he really made the most of what this part of the world has to offer.
