We sat beside your bedside,
our hearts were crushed and sore,
we did our duty to the end
till we could do no more.
In tears we watched you sinking,
we watched you fade away
and though our hearts were breaking
we knew you could not stay.
You left behind aching hearts
that loved you most sincere.

No matter how much time passes,

Passed away on 25th September 2026

We, the family of the late Liam Clarke, would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved husband, father and grandad.

We are deeply touched by the kindness and support shown by our family, friends and neighbours. Thank you to everyone who visited our home, attended the Wake and Funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards and messages, travelled to offer their condolences, brought food, helped with arrangements or assisted with traffic management. Your kindness has meant so much to us during this difficult time.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Karen, Andy and Carmel for helping to prepare a beautiful meal for our family following the Funeral.

We are sincerely grateful to Fr Seamus White for celebrating Liam’s Funeral Mass, and to Ann Marie at the Parish Office for her help and care.

Thank you to Anna Marie for her beautiful singing, and to Declan and Darren for their beautiful music at the Funeral Mass.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Pat, Jacqueline and all the staff at McGennity Funeral Directors for their compassion and care throughout Liam’s Wake and Funeral.

We are especially grateful to Dr McCormick and all the staff on Ramone Three at Craigavon Area Hospital for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Liam during the final weeks of his life. We will always be thankful for everything you did for him and our family.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation for all the kindness, love and support we have received. It will never be forgotten.

Liam’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Sunday 25th October 2026 in St Patrick’s Church, Dromintee.

Deeply missed and forever loved by his heartbroken wife, children, grandchild and all who knew and loved him.

O’Neill, Jim - R.I.P. 29 Cairn Hill, Crieve Road, Newry BT34 2ST. 18th October 2026, peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Margaret, loving father of Mark, Gareth, Catherine, Barry, Paddy and Julie, Dada Jim to Connor, Katie, Noah, Jonah, Sam, Charlotte, Cillian, James, Ronan, Chloe, Patrick, Aaron and Charlie, father-in-law of Cath, Helen, Ivor, Lisa and Michael, predeceased by his sister Deirdre.

Jim’s remains will repose at his late residence this evening (Sunday 18th October) from 7pm until 9pm and tomorrow (Monday 19th October) from 3pm until 9pm. Respectfully, the house is private on Tuesday morning please. Jim’s remains will leave his home on Tuesday morning (20th October) at 11.45am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm in St. Catherine’s church, Dominic Street, Newry. Burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.

Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.

Third anniversary - Lawrence McAllister R.I.P.

He never looked for praise,
He was never one to boast,
He just went on quietly working, for the ones he loved the most.
His dreams were seldom spoken, his wants were very few, and most of the time his worries were unspoken too.

He was there…… a firm foundation, through all our storms of life, a sturdy hand to hold on to in times of stress or strife.

A true friend we could turn to when times were good or bad, one of our greatest blessings, the man that we called ‘Da’
