A little trip down memory lane to when this incredible tiger passed through Motis Dover FSA on its journey into the UK.

We’re lucky to see all sorts of fascinating cargo travelling through Dover, but an animal like this definitely makes for a memorable day!

It’s not every day you get to say you’ve had a tiger pass through the FSA… 🚛🐅

📢 Gas Leak at Western Docks – Service Update

Following the major gas leak at Dover Western Docks, we can confirm that the leak has now been located and repaired. Engineers continue to carry out safety checks along the gas line and are working 24/7 to identify and resolve any further issues.

Current service status:

🚛 Dover FSA remains open, but the main building is temporarily closed while safety checks continue.

🅿️ Parking for vehicles not attending for customs formalities is currently unavailable. Alternative parking is available at Motis Cheriton Parc.

🚻 Main building facilities, including reception, café, showers and toilets, remain unavailable. An external toilet facility is available.

✅ Motis Freeflow Customs Services remain fully operational, with teams working from temporary onsite facilities and remotely.

📄 Freeflow customers should experience minimal disruption to customs services.

🚛 Non-EU vehicles requiring T1 discharge at Dover FSA may access the site and wait onsite until the service is available.

This is a Western Docks site infrastructure issue outside Motis’ operational control. We are working closely with all relevant parties to minimise disruption and restore full services as quickly and safely as possible.

We’ll continue to provide updates as soon as we have further information.

🚨 Motis Dover FSA Service Update

Due to a gas leak at Dover Western Docks, services at the site are currently suspended until further notice.

📍 Parking: Dover FSA parking is currently unavailable. Alternative parking is available at
Motis Cheriton Parc, Cheriton High St, Folkestone, CT19 4QJ

📝Motis Freeflow Customs Services: Our customs services are currently operating remotely, but delays are expected until the Dover FSA building has safely reopened.

Vehicles attending Dover FSA for customs clearance may continue to park on site while the building remains closed.

We will provide a further update as soon as the site is deemed safe to reopen and services resume.

We apologise for any disruption this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding.

We are officially open to the public in Cheriton!

We have slots available tomorrow for just £6pp for a court with 4 people. To make bookings, you can download the App via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store searching for "Motis Padel".

Courtside Kitchen & Bar are also launching tomorrow so pop down and have a coffee or even a cocktail while watching or playing some Padel.

🚨 Travel Update | Rødby–Puttgarden

Scandlines have advised that The Baltic Whale has been temporarily taken out of service on the Rødby–Puttgarden route due to technical issues.

The route is currently operating with the remaining three vessels, meaning reduced capacity and potentially longer waiting times at the ports, particularly for customers travelling without a booking.

ADR bookings scheduled on The Baltic Whale will be rebooked onto alternative departures.

We will continue share further updates as they become available.

Please allow extra time for your journey and plan ahead where possible.
