Time for a rest after another busy May half term. Thank you to everyone that has been to see us this week.
It’s been brilliant to see the trains so full, we absolutely do not take it for granted. Your support means we carry on investing back into the railway which is how we’ve been able to run daily steam trains this week for the first time since the 1970’s. Honestly that is something we never thought we’d see again.
The engines are away in their sheds and looking forward to their day off tomorrow (along with the rest of the team).
We’ll be back open on Tuesday and are looking forward to seeing you then.

June’s steam train dates will be announced shortly. All the best from team LWR.

We are now on our mid season timetable of weekends 10.00 - 4.30 and weekdays 10.30 - 4.00.

Honestly it’s the little things in life that make such a difference. It’s been tough this week driving a steam train in the heat.
So when a young train fan and his mum popped down to the park to give us these shortbread biscuits, honestly it made our day. Safe to say they were quickly consumed and even helped to keep us going, on what so far has been our busiest day of the year. Thank you!

Good morning from a cooler Newquay.

Lady Luna is in service today and tomorrow for the last of our daily steam trains this week.

Enjoy the pleasure of a train ride on Cornwalls oldest miniature railway making new memories that will last a generation.

No need to pre-book, simply turn up and buy your tickets at the station. We accept cash and card payments. For the bargain price of just £1.50 per person or a 10 ride discount ticket for £12 which says you 20%.

Daily steam trains continue to run this week in this glorious sunshine. The station provides plenty of shade to keep cool whilst waiting for the train to depart.

Your next destination is then Platform 3 Cafe, Newquay for a scoop (or 2, we don’t judge) of Cornish Kelly's Ice Cream.

We’ve had a great start to the half term holiday. It’s been lovely having full trains of happy passengers making new memories.

Daily steam trains are now running every day until Friday. This will be the first daily steam service since the 1970’s so make sure you come for a ride to be part of our history.

Still only £1.50 per person. Steam trains operate 10.00 - 5.15 this week.
Fancy a late afternoon train ride? The car park is free from 4pm every day, result.
