Our Story
Solo Sails are a small, family run manufacturer of performance racing and cruising sails for all kinds of sailing yachts. We started like most sailmakers as professional sailors ourselves, but also learning our trade through the sailmaking industry by working with other sailmakers. Eventually in 2011, we set up our own sail loft to fill the gap in the market between the low quality “budget” sails and top end overpriced sails.
Our aim is to provide world class sails at a medium price, using only premium materials and design technology and construction. We have the technology and experience to design fast, durable yacht sails using the very latest in CFD analysis software and cut the panels on our state of the art CNC cutting machine.
