Congratulations!

A Gateshead couple have broken with tradition and travelled to their wedding on the Tyne and Wear Metro.

Laura and Aaron Capon were inspired by a recent trend in New York where couples opt for its iconic subway system to get married.

The happy couple caught the Metro from Gateshead to Haymarket to tie the knot at Newcastle Civic Centre.
