What inspired you to become a pilot ✈️
Flying over the Grand Canyon aged 8 left quite an impression! 🏜️ Realising that someone could get paid to fly over the edge of a cliff was a little mind-blowing at the time 🤯 and triggered a life-long ambition that I was able to achieve 22 years later.

What do you love most about flying ☁️🚁
There is nothing quite like the feeling of lifting off into a hover and heading into the skies. Being able to land directly at your destination instead of being confined to runways makes helicopters far cooler - in my opinion! 😎

What is the best view you ever had 🌊🌅
Flying around Cornwall last year gave way to some absolutely breathtaking vistas - from seeing the Scillies 40 miles away, checking out seals on the beaches from 600 feet 🦭, shipwrecks ⚓ and sunlight glinting off the waves ✨ and military helicopters performing exercises in the dunes 🚁, the South West of England has some incredible vantage points.

Most memorable flight 📸🐶
The flight I remember most was during my hour building phase in between obtaining my private and commercial licenses, Packing our bags and securing our cocker spaniels in the back seats my partner and I headed out from Newcastle to visit her parents near Inverness for the weekend. Landing in their back garden provided some amazing photo opportunities with some incredible views over the Cairngorms and highlands as we flew up then back home again.

What would you say to someone who is nervous about their first helicopter flight 💬
Helicopters are some of the safest form of aviation transport - its not Hollywood 🎬, we don't suddenly explode if anything happens! Enjoy the views and speak up, ask questions ❓ - chances are the pilot loves their job and will be more than happy to chat to you about what's going on, you don't need to be silent ; make some noise!

Sunrise or Sunset flight 🌅
100% sunset! Nothing beats that golden glow on the horizon as the street lights start to twinkle ✨

Mountains or Coastline ⛰️🌊
Both but for different reasons; you can often see the curvature of the earth from the coastline 🌍, but flying below the level of mountain tops is very humbling.

Tea or Coffee ☕
Coffee every day, no question! 😄
