Dear all,
As lockdown is giving us a little more freedom, rather than doing a full blown fly in for the time being we are opening for flying days on the following dates
22nd May 2021
26th June 2021
24th July 2021
21st August 2021
25th September 2021
23rd October 2021

Visitors must please PPR and numbers may be limited due to covid rules. Please bring your own picnics and refreshments. If you wish to pitch a wing tent for the night you are very welcome.

Dear all,
I cannot help but see we are getting an ever increasing following on the page. It's been a rum year for for most of us. We were hoping to host an impromptu fly in for boxing day but if the poor weather hadn't put pay to it, covid measures certainly did. I'm sure we won't be able to see any of you this side of New Year, but the very first day out of lockdown we would love to invite you to a flying day here. Happy Christmas folks, enjoy new year and we look forward to more sociable times. Best wishes George

To the hundreds of wonderful people who like and follow Priors Farm Strip.... It is with a heavy heart that I have to say this year's fly in will not go ahead. For the sake of one man's poor low flying over the village to another local strip the council have deemed our hidden treasure of Priors Farm Strip to be unlawful, we run well within the 28 day ruling but until a time we are clear of beurocracy I just do not feel it right to continue. Much to the disdain of 99% of good folk out there, the 1% of pilots and local community really can put a huge spanner in the works. Please accept my sincere apologies for yet another cancelled fly in this year. Hopefully we shall come out of the other side of this being better than ever. Best wishes. George

Priors Farm Strip fly in still on. 11th/12th July. Please show interest well in advance so we can deal with numbers. We may run it over 3-4 days if needs be. Camping will (hopefully) be welcome. Priors Farm Strip is open if any of you would like to pay a visit. The grass is freshly cut so may be slightly slippy. Plans for the fly in are going ahead. We may have to put a fair effort in to make it work depending on distancing measures, however, we shall run it short of another total lockdown

Dear All,
In these rather depressing times I would like you all to know that we are pushing on with our plans for a summer fly in, well, two actually. Please put the dates of 11th and 12th July in your diary, also the 12th and 13th of September. We will hold both events, not either/or unless lockdown prevails. Due to the hugely restricted flying we have seen this year these days are open to all aircraft. However, we do have a finite amount of parking available so booking a slot may well be a must, equally, if we get hugely oversubscribed we may extend both to 3 day events starting on the Friday. Camping and wing camping is very welcome, there will be great caterers and a bar on site. Come and join us. Best wishes to all and don't go stir crazy in the meantime! PPR to [email protected]
