๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฉ๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐จ? This photo was taken on the last day of teaching in the Hill Tribe school in Thailand. As teachers we had been given out stickers through the week to celebrate their hard work and because it was the last day the kids put stickers on my face for being a good teacher. It was so sad to say goodbye to them. These two girls were really enthusiastic about learning English, they said they want to be tour guides in the city when they are older.
๐ช๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ? I am inspired by the ways in which people come together to make change. It is easy to get disheartened by the state of the world sometimes. Meeting people who care and being a part of a team that aims to make a meaningful impact reminds me how powerful we truly are. When we try to spread love and kindness to others and the planet we make the world a better place.
๐ช๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ณ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ? Global citizenship to me mean no boundaries. When we act like global citizens, we are saying there is no limit to who I will try to help, or where I will try protect. Recognizing that the planet is my home, and it goes way beyond the small town in which I grew up. Being a global citizen is acting mindfully with the intention of avoiding negative impacts.
