You really can’t ask for a better location to tour Rome than staying at Babuino 181.

I had the opportunity to stay and tour the Babuino 181, a boutique hotel, right in the historic part of Rome between the Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps. The hotel is part of the Small Luxury Hotels and it is truly a gem on the Via del Babuino.

The hotel is a perfect combination of Italian style with a contemporary flair and thoughtful attention to detail to ensure that your stay is memorable. We received, upon check-in, a booklet titled “A Roman Notebook” that had wonderful tips and restaurant recommendations for the area around the hotel. We had some amazing meals thanks to this notebook.

The hotel has several room options to choose from all perfectly appointed for your stay in Rome! Breakfast is served in the morning on the 4th floor with views of the street below and of daily life in Rome.

Corfu is an amazing island in the northern part of Greece. This is easily accessible from Europe with direct flights from the major European cities.
Corfu has more of a European feel having been ruled by the Venetians, the French and the British. The town of Corfu, is the capital of the Greek island of Corfu, in the Ionian Sea. It’s known for its cobblestone streets and pastel-colored Venetian architecture. This is a great city to explore the old cobblestone streets.

Domes Miramare is a beautiful adults only resort which was originally owned by the Onassis Family. This resort was built right on the water with an outdoor fitness studio, yoga on the pier and the hotel’s boat is available for your use!

What an amazing view!!

I love the fact that you can walk or bike across Brooklyn Bridge to see all the sights and at the end of the day go back, to your beautifully designed hotel, and watch the city from across the river. 🗽

This hotel was designed by local artists using native greenery and reclaimed materials, each of the 195 rooms and suites features floor-to-ceiling windows and industrial-chic touches.

The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea has launched an initiative in collaboration with the Lahaina Restoration Foundation to give back to Maui. 🌺

If you love Maui, preserving its history and discovering Maui, please read on!

Malama means care and this initiative is called the “Malami Hawaii” volunteer experience. In collaboration with the Lahaina Restoration Foundation, guests at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea can discover and learn about Maui’s history through the processing of historic artifacts and documents. The reward for participation: A $250 resort credit to be applied to the guests current stay and a gift certificate for a one-night luxury accommodation in an Ocean View Room for a future stay. 🍃

The experience includes a brief training session, and then a three-hour immersive session of Maui’s history through the transcribing of historic artifacts, measuring or describing of documents spanning all eras of Maui’s past. 🌺
