Our Lancashire Shareholder Member Matthew Kibble Transport has invested heavily in updating its fleet. 🚛

The Nelson-based logistics specialist has purchased its first fully electric truck - a DAF XB190 – as well as its first 3.5-tonne van, a 75-plate DAF rigid vehicle, eight new tractor units, and seven double-decker trailers.

Matthew Kibble Transport’s decision to invest in an electric truck was driven by the company’s desire to test the performance and evaluate the efficiency of electric vehicles as it continues to upgrade and invest in its fleet.

The firm joined the network as a Shareholder Member in 2010 to cover the Preston, Blackpool and Fylde Coast areas. 📍

After recently adding the Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and East Lancashire areas to its portfolio, the company has increased palletised freight volumes by 25 per cent.
