📍 Seville, Spain 🇪🇸
My favourite city break I’ve been on to date! So good, I’ve been twice… once in September and then took my family in March 🥰
I absolutely LOVE this city — the vibrancy, the FOOD, the atmosphere and, of course, the sangria 🍷
☀️ Weather:
Seville is HOT in summer, which is why I’d recommend visiting earlier or later in the year. We had gorgeous warm days around 25°C when we visited, but you can imagine how hot it gets in peak summer! Don’t forget the sun cream and maybe cover those shoulders when the sun is at its strongest ☀️
🍽️ Food:
Tapas bars EVERYWHERE. I nearly turned into a Spanish omelette after the amount we ate 🫠
The food is incredible and we genuinely didn’t have one bad meal. Tapas means you can order individual dishes or sharing plates for the table, so everyone gets to try a bit of everything. And the best part? Everyone always over-ordered and I happily polished off the leftovers 🤩
⛪️ Attractions:
Seville is packed with history and things to see, from beautiful churches and historic buildings to its deep-rooted flamenco and bullfighting culture 🫣
Fancy a spot of rowing? You can hire a boat in the Plaza de España. Or, if football is more your thing, why not catch a match at the stadium? There are plenty of paid and free attractions, and I honestly think they’re all worth exploring.
🚲 Getting around:
You’ll definitely hit your step count in Seville! We walked pretty much everywhere, but the city is also really cycle-friendly, with bike lanes throughout. It’s easy to pick up a bike and explore another part of the city before carrying on your adventures 🚲
💶 ££:
I’d say Seville is on the cheaper side for a European city break. Of course, you can find more expensive restaurants, but there are so many fantastic tapas bars where you can grab a b**r or tapas for just a few euros.
For me, it’s one of the best-value city breaks I’ve experienced 🤩
I absolutely love Seville and would LOVE to help you explore it, with plenty of personal recommendations from my own trips 🥰🇪🇸 Message me and we can get planning!
