We are pleased to announce that our oldest motorcar in the collection, the 1905 Wolseley 'Baby' is going to The Shuttleworth Collection.

This is very fitting as this motorcar was owned by the Shuttleworth family in the late1920's/early 1930's and was used by the family to take part in a number of the London to Brighton rallies of the period

It is with immense regret that the decision to close the museum has been taken.
As previously publicised, I had hoped a new custodian would take the venture on. Unfortunately, despite a good level of interest, nothing has come to fruition.
Consequently, my collection will be auctioned this coming May. A press release to this effect will be released shortly.

The museum is currently shut as we normally do during the winter months.
We are still hoping that the museum will find a new custodian(s).
To this end, no final decision has been taken regarding setting a date for auction. If a new custodian is not found by the end of January 2025 then auction is the most likely way forward.

Wishing all of our supporters and followers a Very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2025

An Englishman’s home is his castle, but it's in the nation’s sheds where real treasure is to be found - cars, bikes, boats, tractors and all manner of motoring memorabilia, just waiting to be bought, fixed up and moved on for a tidy profit.
