A lot of dedication has allowed for XSA620 to, once again, hit the road but now with its brand new engine.

You may have been following the story or sourcing a never used AEC 470 short block complete with liners and the story up to now of getting it built for the reliance. Today, a four mile test run was undertaken successfully.

For the final time, an Angus Transport Group vehicle leaves the Dundee Museum of Transport site at Market Mews before its imminent closure and relocation to Maryfield.

Over the years, we’ve had much fun working with the staff and volunteers at DMoT and look forward to continuing this going forward at their new premises.

Another hugely successful Dundee Bus Festival where, working alongside the Dundee Museum of Transport and with visiting vehicles from every preservation group in Dundee, the SVBM and the GVVT we enjoyed a day of laughs, joke and many stories told.

Thank you to all our volunteers, everyone who brought a vehicle and to all the visitors who enjoyed a day with us.

Two absolute highlights of the day, Tayway Metrobuses and five Volvo Ailsas for all to enjoy!

We are all set and looking forward to welcoming you to Dundee Museum of Transport today! Our shuttle bus is running every 20 minutes from the bottom of Whitehall St to the Museum, and there are longer tours running every hour on the half hour from the Museum, as well as open top trips to Broughty Ferry at 1030, 1230 and 1430. We'll be welcoming a wide variety of visiting buses and there should be something for everyone. See you there 🚌

Not long to go now, we can't wait to welcome you this Sunday to Dundee Bus Festival at Dundee Museum of Transport! Free shuttle from Whitehall Street featuring a selection of vehicles changing every hour, and hourly trips from the museum to local destinations, including (weather permitting) open top trips to the Ferry.

A busy weekend for the team, with drivers, conductors and supporters out for two days for the final Basin Rambler of the season. Meanwhile we had a significant milestone with XSA 620 as the reconditioned engine was installed under the bus. 3 of our founding members were there to assist!

Continuing the burst of RRM enthusiasm, a once over has been earned with a number of small issues addressed.

13 years of 431 in preservation. This marks the turning point where we have owned the Myllennium Tiger in preservation for as long as it was in service (in its current state).

13 staggeringly quick years, 431 can be enjoyed by all this weekend at the SVBM Open Weekend this weekend in Dunfermline.
