They did it! We couldn’t be prouder of the four brave Tri-Wallers who tackled the Three Peaks Trial (Gold Route) for charity this weekend.
💪 They battled Blorenge first, finding their stride before climbing Sugarloaf and finally Skirrid
💪 The weather stayed mostly dry and sunny, with just a touch of rain and hail
💪 They managed to complete all 21 or so miles in just 10 hours
So, all in all, a roaring success – aside from a few small tumbles, blisters and sore knees.
In their own words:
“The 3 peaks challenge was a really fun experience! While it was difficult, I think the team really embraced the challenge and it turned out to be a great laugh, raising money for a good cause too!”
– Dan Hallam, Production Operative
“It was pretty daunting going into the challenge but once we completed the first peak we found our stride. It was really nice to do it as a team and the guys picked me up when I fell over! I’m just really proud that we made it to the finish line together and in a decent time.”
– Emily Hughes, Executive Assistant
👏 Please join us in congratulating Dan, Emily, Tom Gibson (SHEQ Lead) and Jon Slade (Designer).
Between them, they’ve raised over £500 for Heart Foundation (and counting!)
