Got a moving date pencilled in? Here's when to call the removal company.
For most homes in Milton Keynes, four to six weeks ahead is about right. Moving on a Friday, at the end of the month or during the school holidays? Give yourself six to eight weeks. Those dates go first.
A lot of people think they have to wait until contracts exchange before booking anything. You don't. You can have your survey done and a written quote in hand beforehand, then confirm the date once your solicitor gives you the go-ahead.
