🚌☀️ Another Fantastic Day Out with Sixty Sixty Coaches! ☀️🚌

Today our two hardworking Scania coaches were back out on the road, transporting the lovely ladies and gents from the Pentrebach & Abercanaid Old Age Group for a wonderful day out to Swansea and the beautiful Mumbles. 🌊🏖️

The weather was kind, the scenery was stunning, and most importantly there were plenty of smiles, laughs and great memories made throughout the day. 😊

A big thank you goes to our drivers, Rhys and Tom, who ensured everyone travelled safely, comfortably and in great spirits from start to finish. 👏

🚌🐍 A Wild Day Out at Folly Farm! 🐍🚌

Yesterday, two of our coaches had the pleasure of transporting a local school to Folly Farm for a fantastic day of fun, adventure, and plenty of memories!

A huge thank you to our drivers, Rhys and Josh, who ensured everyone travelled safely, comfortably, and with a smile from start to finish.

🚌 Our coaches looking their best and proudly representing Sixty Sixty Coaches.

🚔 Josh found himself "behind bars" for the serious offence of providing too much customer service (don't worry, we managed to secure his release!).

🐍 And Rhys was spotted attempting to tame a rather friendly snake... although we're not entirely convinced who was in charge of that situation!

It's always a pleasure helping schools create memorable experiences, and we're proud to play a small part in making these days happen.

DIVERSION NOTICE – SERVICE UPDATE

PEN-Y-DRE HIGH SCHOOL

DOWLAIS, PENYWERN and PANT

Dates: Monday 27th April 2026 to Friday 1st May 2026
Reason: Temporary road closure affecting normal service route

Due to road restrictions during the above dates, services will be unable to operate along the usual route via Rhes Isaf, Lower Row, Jones Street and Nant Morlais.

Diversion Route:
The Pen-y-Dre High service will operate via the following diversion:

Gwernllwyn Road
Garden Street
Upper Union Street

This diversion follows the green-marked route shown on the map.

Important Information:

Bus stops on Upper Row, Lower Row and at Dowlais Con Club will not be served during this period.
Pupils who usually board or alight at Upper Row or Lower Row should use the temporary stop located by the Funeral Directors at the bottom of Rhes Isaf.
Pupils who usually board or alight at Dowlais Con Club should use the temporary stops near Dowlais Police Station.
