We would like to advise passengers that the 14:00 Service 44 from BGH to Hawick will be delayed due to an incident on the A6091.

⚠️ Service Cancellation Notice – Service 44 ⚠️

Unfortunately, the 15:00 Service 44 from Hawick to BGH has been cancelled due to a customer becoming unwell on the bus. The vehicle has had to be taken out of service for cleaning before it can safely return to operation.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank our passengers for their understanding.

📢 Service Update – Route 44

Due to operational delays, the 17:00 Service 44 from BGH to Hawick is currently expected to run approximately 30 minutes late.

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

🚧 Service 44 Update - Friday 4th of September 🚧

Due to roadworks, Service 44 will be unable to serve Hassendean and Appletree Hall throughout most of the day on Friday 4th of September.

✅ The 07:00 journey from Hawick will be able to serve Hassendean and Appletree Hall as normal.

✅ The 08:00 journey from BGH will also be able to serve Hassendean and Appletree Hall as normal.

All other Service 44 journeys will be unable to serve Hassendean and Appletree Hall while the road closure is in place.

The road is currently scheduled to reopen at 17:00 on Friday 4th of September, after which Service 44 will resume its normal route and serve Hassendean and Appletree Hall as usual.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding while these essential works are carried out.

Please be advised that the 91 service between Peebles and Biggar is currently experiencing delays due to an incident near Broughton.

This video shows one of our SBC minibuses in Berwick-upon-Tweed at the beginning of the month during the annual Minden Parade.

We were delighted to support a local veterans group by providing transport for them to attend the event. It's always a privilege to help our local communities and support those who have served our country.

📢 Service 44 Update

From today, Service 44 has reverted to its normal route as the diversion is no longer in place.

As a result, the service will once again serve Hassendean and Appletree Hall as normal.

Thank you to all our passengers for your patience and understanding while the diversion was in operation.

Service 44 Diversion

Passengers of the service 44 are advised that due to a road closure on the B6359 at Newlands, Service 44 will be diverted from Wednesday 29th of July until Friday 7th of August 2026.

During this period, buses will divert via the A7 from Hawick to Ashkirk, using the B6400 past Clerklands to reach Lilliesleaf.

As a result the Service 44 will omit Appletreehall and Hassendean until the B6359 reopens.
