Not every trip needs to be practical.

Sometimes it is okay to take the long route, book the unusual campground, visit the strange roadside attraction or spend money doing something that creates a great story. 🌄

There will always be another reason to stay home. Work is busy. Fuel is expensive. The timing is not perfect.

But time keeps moving whether we take the trip or not.

You do not have to spend recklessly, but saving every adventure for “someday” can become its own kind of risk.
