🦢 Wildlife Wednesday 🦢

A huge thank you to boater Kev for sending us these beautiful photos of a swan and her cygnets enjoying life on the River Great Ouse. ❤️

At this time of year, we're lucky to see lots of new life along our waterways, and these fluffy youngsters are certainly making the most of their riverside adventures under mum's watchful eye.

Swans are wonderful parents, with both mum and dad helping to protect and raise their cygnets until they're ready to fend for themselves.

This week we’re shining a spotlight on the GOBA - Great Ouse Boating Association mooring at Wicken Fen on The Lodes — a real favourite with both our staff and customers.

🦆💛 We're loving watching this proud mummy duck raising her little ducklings in and around the marina at the moment!

we're delighted to report that she's still got six ducklings. Mum is clearly doing a fantastic job keeping her little family safe as they explore the waterways, grass banks and marina surroundings.
