For years, logistics has been viewed through a narrow lens: a cost centre to minimise rather than a strategic function to optimise.

That mindset does not reflect the reality of most companies nowadays.

After observing organisations navigating workforce shortages, rising customer expectations, margin pressures, it seems the low-cost models are no longer the lowest-cost operational strategies.

Think about a breakdown in logistics and its impact such as (but not limited to) delays and expedited shipping costs (increasing the budgeted cost significantly).

• The €150 de minimis / duty relief threshold is removed ⛔️

• A new flat fee of €3 per HS code is introduced 🆕️
