We’ve just finished air-conditioning a 20ft container office ❄️

Steel containers can get brutally hot in summer (and uncomfortable year-round), so proper climate control makes a huge difference if you’re using one as an office or workspace.

I’ve put together a full POV video showing the install from start to finish — from mounting the units to running pipework and getting it up and running.

As we head into December, here’s a quick look back at some standout moments from a huge year at Universal Containers.

Alongside delivering specialist containers, curtain-siders, parts and welfare builds, we also secured a new piece of land — a major step that gives us room to expand production and storage as we grow.

Two real standout projects this year:

• A custom gym build for Salford City FC, where Shaun grabbed a photo with Ryan Giggs during the handover.

• A specialist build delivered for Eddie Hall, bringing together engineering, fabrication and gym design in one project.

Our container parts division has also taken off, shipping hardware and accessories across the UK at a pace we’ve never seen before.

Proud of the team, the partnerships and the progress made this year.
